LeLutka Summer 09 Collection

I made my way over the other day, with the many others desperately wanting to see the new LeLutka Collection. I told myself, I would only pick a few things to blog.... yeah... that is what I told myself.

So in keeping with my usual LeLutka blogs, EVERYTHING you see in the images is from them. Skin, Hair, Shoes, Jewelry, Clothes. Don't get too excited, the skin is not a *new* skin. Tho I do hear they will be making their way in store shortly.

So what did I think about all the summer goodness? Well, I loved everything. I think the new jewelry is really beautiful, and amazingly detailed... I wish I would have zoomed in and taken a few shots so you could see the workmanship. Anykey did such a great job, and there is a nice selection. I choose just a few pieces to show you. But there is a whole wall in store.

The shoes that Minnu & Thora made are great too... I love the shape of the TEESE shoes, and OMG... the St Tropez shoes are fantastic! They have a sling back, and open toe, and some of the colors are even 2 toned. Yessss..... there are prim toes in there. But I think they are small enough (and well detailed enough) that they add to the shoe instead of becoming a distraction, as are many prim feet these days.

Course the hair is wonderful... there were quite a few new styles, which I don't think was really mentioned. I have trouble wearing hair without bangs, I think I have an enourmous forehead. But for some reason the TALLULAH hair seems to really work on me regardless. I love the loose whispy bits of hair, and the overall softness on the styles.

And Finnnally... the clothes! Thora must have been working her booty off, because there is just tons and tons and TONS of new clothing. Everything comes in assorted colors, and speaking of color...this collection is more bright and "summery" then LeLutka normally puts out there. You can find casualy wear, formal wear, and everything in between. Oh and swimwear tooo! Yummy prim clothing, that has been sculpted meticulously and really fits the AV with little adjustments. Some of the skirts, have AOs in the, to make sure you normal AO doesn't do crazy nonsense to you look.

Well, I am pretty sure I have rambled on enough... so just have yourself a look....

Chaisuki Elaine Skins

So... I just got my first sets of Chaisuki skins. A good friend of mine pointed me over there the other night, and I was really impressed with the enormous makeup selection as well as the great body detail.

Soooo... I am going to share, in case you've not been there, or heard of the shop before (like myself).

I picked out the Elaine skin to share. I really like the lip and eye shaping on these skins, as I tried some others, and they didn't really work with my skin. I thought to give you a better review, I might show you both my redhead and brunette looks, with both the lighter and darker shades.

As I said above, the makeup selection is insane... I counted well over 30 actually?! For each skin tone! Thats insane.... if you cannot find one you like, there is something wrong with you. LOL The Elaine lighter tones are: light, medium & sunkissed. The Elaine darker tones are: tan, dark & Mocha. All of which you get a little sample of below.

I think the body detail is great, since I do prefer something much more defined, its right up my alley. The shading around the breasts, tummy, knees, etc... all very well defined. You have that all over glow that is very *in* right now. I think evein the lightest of the tones has a warmth to it.

For a skin I've not heard tons about, I was seriously impressed. I think its worth a trip over to Chaisuki ...there are quite a few there to choose from, and trying on demos is a blast anyways! =)

I just love this great new dress from Boutique, so I had to share real quick. Tenshi Vielle is the creator behind Boutique, and makes lovely stuffs! I am really partial to the jewelry she creates actually, but when she sent this dress, I couldn't wait to snap some pics.

I think the Georgiana dress is perfect for the summer season, and I adore the V cut in the front... you all know how I love to show off my bewbs. =) I paired it up with a great Bow belt that also comes from Boutique, which comes in a jacket layer and you can probably add to dozens of different looks.

League Skins

Helllloooo Lovies!!

I have new skins to share! Yay! Nena Janus of League has done a fantastic job with two skins I am going to share with you; Kate & Misty.

Each skin comes in 3 tones - Medium, Suntan & Deeptan. They also come with an array of makeups which I've managed to show you nearly every one below. The makeups are all pretty subtle, nothing too loud or wild, but with a very good mix of lip tones, and eye shadows. You also get each skin with an optional hair base AND the option or more or less clevage. In the images of Kate, I am wearing the more option, and the Misty, the less. I like having that option, particularly with lingerie.

The bodies are fantastic, great detail paid to the clavical, which you all know is something I really look for. I love the tummy, butt, and the knees.

I think between the 2 skins my personal preference is the Misty skin. I think on my shape, the lips and eyebrows seem to suit me more. But honestly, its a really close call, cause they both done so well.

So I tried to come up with some creative way to blog my fave's from the hair fair... but didn't come up with anything, and gave up! LOL

So, I am just going to share with you 10 styles that I really loved. These of course aren't the only ones I loved, but I tried to pick some that might not have been shared yet, and give you a few that you may not have heard of.

Just because its not a huge name you hear everyday doesn't mean there aren't lots of other great hairs to check out. This is sort of the purpose of the hair fair, well in my opinion, and in addition to the fund raising of course.

So, head over, try and be wise and don't go prim heavy, and stop in all the shops, even the ones you might want to walk past, you never know whats waiting in store!

I am thinking I should have some more time for my blogging now. *crosses fingers*

If you haven't already heard, I am now working for Second Style, as Advertising Assistant. Yay!

So have you seen the new League Garage Shirts?? They are fantastic, if you haven't. They come in an assortment of colors, and 2 different designs. The one I am wearing below is the Wing version, and there is another called Skull.

Everytime Nena releases something new, I am excited to open the preview pictures. Unfortunately, she doesn't do it nearly enough *shakes a finger @ Nena* But, with this kind of great quality, I suppose I can be patient.

I love the prim sculpted collar, as well as the sleeves and the knotted shirt. The color selection has a pretty wide variety, so you are bound to find one you love. The open / low cut front throws in a little fun too, I might add!

Hello lovelies! :)

So yeah as you can see I have been awol and I have missed the bus when it came to reviewing new things. I am always a few mins late...damn you rl! * shakes fist at the pixel sky* Anyway much to my delight when I was roaming today I came across the store TWOSOME. I have been a fan of Twosome since it opened ages ago. They offer a range of shirts, socks,shorts,swimsuits, jewelry to name a few things. I adore this store and when I walked in today I was like OMGZ fan girl squeal over the cutest little retro swimsuits! They are called Retrospection and I lub em. They have everything you would want from some retro awesomeness and polkadot yum! You can get a range of colors. Also they have some cute tanks out just in time for summer fun. They are cheer you up tops. They have cute little pictures on them ranging from cherries..a owl, caterpillars, ice lollies and many more. Also just before I make this post uber long haha the Sophisticated necklace Twosome offer is the bomb. So skip on over there and have a wee look. :)

Exodi - Shiloh Skins

Ryker Beck's store Genesis has rebranded to Exodi, and with that she has some new skins! I am showing off Shiloh, because I LOVE how it looks on my avie.

You have 5 different skin tone options this time around, all of them have a nice warmness to them I think. I adore the very full lips, the beautiful eyes as well as the all over body shading/highlighting. Ryker offers you both a light and dark option on the brows... (I will try not to cry too much over the lack of red brows), and you also get the optional layers for a "tintable landing strip" (if you are into that sort of thing).

Everytime she comes out with another new skin she impresses me more and more with how quickly her work is improving. Some other great new features in the all new Exodi are a fantastic system that Ryker has put together to allow you to create your own fatpack of skins! I LOVE the idea of being able to pick what I want and put together my own little bundle.

I am also sporting a new swimsuit from BOOM called Wild Girl II in Lime, and a great semi transparent saraong from there as well, in Purple. I think its great that Aranel gives you the option to wear a thong or full bikini bottom with the swimsuit. The saraong cut is cute too, covers a bit of your leg, while exposing part of your top, and comes with some knotted prim attachments.

Tuli Hope Skins

The new Tuli Hope skins will be hitting the store this Friday June 5th. But I am more then happy to share with you right now....

Well, at least what they LOOK like...

I just want to mention quickly a few things... first is how much better the newer Tuli skins seem to fit my shape. I was always envious of how great they looked on others, and then not so much on me. BUT... that seems to have changed.... Yay!

I think she has done a terrific job with the overall skin tones, I am giving you a sample of all of them. I also think its terrific that I have the ability to use my natural eyebrows...RED. I don't get that enough...so THANK YOU TULI!

Hope comes in 5 skin tones (pale, fair, sunkissed, tan and dark tan) and 10 makeups per tone (natural, avenue, blush, gala, gig, kitten, sultry, summer, tequila and vivid). Each makeup includes 4 eyebrow colors (light, redhead, brown and black).

Everything about Tuli's skins are soft and feminine, including shading, and the face details. But we also have a wide range of make ups!! I am soooo excited about that. You get red lips, neutral lips, glossy pink lips... and even a couple of wild eye shadows!

You might also notice the fantastic bikini I am sporting?! Skin Flicks... brand newness! It might be a *simple bikini* called Beach Bum but, a few things to note: the bikini bottoms are much higher cut then probably any others you will find. the upper part is worked onto the undershirt layer along with the top. So you end up with a bikini bottom that falls JUST bellow your belly button... You also have sculpted side ties, and the back tie on the top! All comes together lovely.

I matched up the suit with a great set of Jewelry from EarthStones called Bali Crescent - Silver/Chrysocolla. You can get the Earrings and Necklace together, and then the bracelet sold separately.

Deviance Leather Pants

Deviance is an amazing store, if you don't already know. Surreal LeShelle is the creator behind all of the amazing items you find there. I think she is best known for her amazing costumes. She takes great care in adding fine detailing, and working in sculpties. Most all of her costumes are complete sets, packed with different ways to wear, and accessories to complete the look.

But I am not even going to talk about the costumes, because she just released the best leather pants evah!! If you are a member of her group, you can actually snag the black pair as a group gift.. boooonus! I have the multipack, and am going to show you a few of the color options.

In addition to the multitude of colors, each pair also comes with different designs. Every color has the same designs, no matter which you choose. From a plain pair, to dragon designs, to stars. EVEN the scuplted pant legs have different options, either plain or one with a flame design on them.

Of course they are textured perfectly, as is everything else in Surreal's store. Have a look... and try and make a trip down to Deviance soon!

Dutch Touch & Insolence

Hey Y'all!

Finding a moment this Memorial Day weekend to share some newness with you all!

I thought I would share the new Dutch Touch skins, partially cause they are awesome, and also because I have new Insolence lingerie to pair up with it! Yay!

Iki's new Star skins are delicious... I am finding lately its getting harder and harder to find skins that match my shape. I am unwilling to change my shape, I've had the same one since day one. So if a skin doesn't look good on me... then its just well... useless.

So lucky for me, everything *fits* with this skin, I love the big plump lips, and the eyes, and of course the freckle option. Gotta have my freckles. Great skin tones, they are all warm shades, regardless if they are pale or dark. I actually think I like the darker WalNut tone the best, which is really rare for me. But theres just something about it. I love all the smoky eye shadows, and the varied lip shades, and well as all of the body shading.

Like I said earlier, I am also sporting the new Insolence lingerie - - Emily Tulle Set. It comes in an assortment of colors, and they are all subtle. You get just a hint of the pink color with this set. It does also come with a corset layer, which I am not wearing, just so I could show the skin off better.

Belle Belle Furniture

In addition to my previous furniture find post.... I have another!

While at the Home Expo I was also lucky enough to come across Belle Belle, which was again, new to me. I loved the sculpting detail on what I saw at the expo, and immediately went over to the sim to see what else was in store!

Leyla Firefly is the designer behind Belle Belle, and you will be floored by the selection you have at her 2 sim location. She sells most of her lines in distinct sets, labeled accordingly, and most have selections like: Living Room. Bedroom, Kitchen, Bath, and office. Each line is very different from each other, and you can certainly find something in your taste. All of the scuplting is exquisite and the texturing is as well.

In addition to that, her beds are menu driven, with a ton of selection! Which, if you are looking for that, I highly suggest. She also makes a tub along the same lines, and a rug as well. You could probably spend few hours just wandering around her store exploring.

Another fantastic find at Belle Belle were the Perfect View windows. Which can fit right in over existing windows in your home, and are packed with features like: Open and closable curtains (which you can buy in the matching fabric to your set), Views like: beach, city, spring, etc., Privacy settings for the outside view, and finally what I found really neat, the option to turn on a snow or rain effect, which is animated.

AMBIANCE Furniture

So, this is new to My Second Closet. I don't ever review furniture, but I was SO impressed with a few finds at the Home Expo, I had to share it with the readers.

AMBIANCE is totally new to me, and they have an enormous store, with miles of furniture for you to select from. Desiree Bisani and Cheewha Palen are the owners and create Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Living Rooms, Bedrooms and Bathrooms.

On first take, you will be impressed with the scuplting and texturing skills, in addition to the wide selection you are offered. They create quite a few different styled sets for each room, and they come fully accessorized if you buy them in a package. You get books, wall pictures, fireplaces.... every little item you need to complete your space.

But what pushes them ahead of the crowd and makes their stand out, is the fact that when you click on their furniture, you are greeted with a menu. So not only can you rezz various poses, whether they be single or couple....buttttt.... here comes the fantastic part: The entire set is texture change. You get about 4 different textures with each purchase. So it is like getting 4 different sets of furniture.... because in some cases, its not just the color its the texture. And when I say 4 different sets, I mean, EVERYTHING changes: wood, marble, cushions, pillows, etc.

I am showing you a bedroom set, living room, and bathroom.... just so you can not only see the texture change but also the great craftsmanship that is offered.

Keep in mind not every set in the store comes with this option, but a great many do. I highly suggest that you stop by the store, and have a look around, and test out the sets for yourself!

Skin Flicks April Gowns

So I am starting to think about what I am going to wear to the SCD Prom. By some strange coincidence Mavis of Skin Flicks sends me some new releases, and they are gowns. How lucky am I?

I think both of these gowns are incredible, and Mavis' work seems to never get the credit it deserves IMO. I find time after time, her new releases show off her growing skills, with incredible scuplting work.. and really even with out that detail, the base of her work, just her in her texturing is phenomenal.

The first of the two is the Tamara dress, and I am wearing it in Salmon. The train is sculpted, BUT if you find that difficult to pull off because of your AO, you can wear the version without the train. I love the details of the little roses on both the front and back, and the shape of the gown. The straps are sculpted as well, and everything falls nicely on the avie.

The second; Angle dress in Dark Citron is serious consideration for Prom night. I LOVE the color, as a redhead, green is one of those colors that just does it for me. I love the sheer texture work, and the way she has detailed the bottom of the gown, it makes it look very soft and luxurious. As a bonus the top of the gown is sculpted, which really lends to the whole formal look of the gown. Of course the jeweled attachments for the front and back do that as well, but you can also wear them with out the jeweled pieces.

BEBAE April 09

So, Torie has been at it again; creating some more of the best skins you will find in SL. I have to say that in my personal skin preference list, she rounds off on the very top with the new BEBAE Delilah skins.

I have pretty high standards when it comes to my skin LOVES. I think instead of going on about what I love about her skins, I might just tell you what it is that I personally look for, and you can be assured that the new Bebae Skins have all the requirements.

I personally like a very well defined body, that is the first thing I look for when I try on a skin. I come home with my demos, strip down, and go over things like; neck detail, hands, knees, elbows, and of course the breast cleavage, nipples and other unmentionables.... =)

After that I examine the face closely; well defined hair on the eyebrows, plump lips with some gloss to them, the shading on the nose and overall highlighting/sheen on the face.

Finally its makeup... I think I can deal with less of a makeup selection if the skin is impeccable, but it hurts my heart to not have a really great range; simple fresh clean looking skin, to a dark shadow / dark lip tone...followed by some wild colors.

So when I say the new Delilah line has all of that I mean it *crosses my heart* I make one note...I am particularly impress with Torie's work on the inner eyes, the definition there kinda blows me away. Just sayin.

Kunglers - April 09

Ava and Barbra of Kunglers have some newness up in the store!

The Jackie dress does have a great retro feel, and fits so wonderfully. I love the sculpted neck attachment and how it drapes down the back. I think the simple black version definitely gives you the Jackie O feel, especially when paired with the gloves that come with the set... and the great shading on the top and skirt give it a very real look!

The for something totally different you have the Cindy set. Which is a huge folder full of goodness. I absolutely love the jacket and the sculpted sleeves and collar, the texturing and shading is fantastic. Whats best about it is the fact that you get it on so many layers! Its something I can pull out of this outfit and wear with other things because its such terrific quality. Everything come with tons of layers - even the belt can be worn alone, or not at all. The dress underneath is not lacking either, and in true Kunglers form you get accessories! Bangle bracelet, Earrings AND polish. That is a true bargain!

It's been a wee while and what better way to bring me out of hibernation is the awesomeness that Saeya Nyanda has produced. Her store Kyoot has always been a fave of mine and her hairs have been firm staple of my sl wardrobe and OMG her new hair is everything I would ever want into a hair rolled up into sculpted perfection. It's called self absorbed and honestly I may never take it off. It's sexy, funky and pretty much goes with any look. I love the braid in the front and the flowing wavy locks down the back. Seriously go buy it nooooow cause its the awesome.

So Storin has some great new releases, which by now you should know about, because even tho I am blogging, I've had the goods for days. BUT... I at least put some good effort into giving you guys something cute to look at, so that must count for somethin'.

Storin's new Sam Pants, which come with hip bags are FUN! I love the pant length and the sculpties on them, as well as the color combos Ann put together. The hip bags, which come attached to your belt coordinate well with the pants with out being *matchy* I love the patterns on them! Everything fit me so well, with no editing, yay for that! I am also enjoying the Leah scarves, that come in assorted colors, some that coordinate nicely with the belt bags! I am happy that Ann has given us multiple attach points with them also *hugs*

Skin Flicks - April

I have successfully found a few moments to BLOG! YAY!

But I have inspiration in the form of newness from Skin Flicks. I know I have mentioned already, but I do really love everything Mavis does. I don't think there is a single item in that store that I would not wear.

She has a great selection of new mix and match spring wear for you all. I am featuring everything in the beige color, but there are more colors to see in store! This new *Jane* line is adorned with lots of texturing details, and great sculpted accents.

In the first image I am wearing the Jane jacket and Skirt. I love how Mavis uses the skirt layer to add to the jacket, she did this on a recent skirt suit as well. It really adds to the look, while minimizing on having prim attachments, and flexi pieces that have a mind of their own. LOL Cuffed/sculpted sleeves and collar of course!

In the 2nd image I am sporting the Jane Pants and T-Shirt. I love the t-shirt, with the simple tiger image and sculpted sleeves. Oh and the pants....they are fantastic... cargos, with lots of sculpted pockets, cuffs and a really well done belt!

And in the last image I've put the Jane shorts with the Ruffled T. T is very feminine with flexi sleeves and lots of shading detail, and the shorts are much like the pants with a great belt and sculpted cuffs!

You will also notice I am wearing shoes that match SO well, which is because they are from Skin flicks as well, they are called the Jane Flat.

NEW Belleza Skins - Miguel

For what seems like forever, which in SL time is more or less a few weeks, we've been patiently waiting on the release of Belleza's new male skins. I think word was out some time in January and everyone was pretty much pacing. Well, Tricky has finally decided to begin releasing, with the first skin, named Miguel. He is choosing to release the skins one by one... at about 2 week intervals, and there will be 6 new male skins in all.

Obviously, I don't do much in the way of menswear over here at MSC. I talk about what I wear, and I don't have a male avie, or alt for that matter. But with all the excitment around the skins, I was really curious to get a look myself. Lucky for me my friend Bri Bellic was a willing victim. So I got him naked tonight and inspected him head to toe. Its a tough job, but someone has to do it.

There is a big difference if you compare these new Belleza skins to the old. Much more definition in the body tone, shading is definitely improved. I think the face is done very well, eyebrows, facial hair... all very meticulously put together, as is typical for Tricky's work. Other things that have been improved are the definition on the shoulder blades, thighs, knees. All seem to have been gone over carefully and given a lot more detail.

I am showing you the Sunkissed version of the skin here, great skin tone...but of course you have lots of other options in the way of tones. I give you a few facial hair samples as well.

The only thing that I am unsure on is the pubic hair, which y'all don't even get to see. (go get a demo to check it out yourselves) Compared to the *old* Belleza skins, the hair is much more...hrmmm... severe? fuller? Maybe fuller is a better word. I don't know if this will be the case with all of the new male skins, but I am ver curious to see. I am not neccessarily opposed to it... just curious to see what is in store for the next round.... Tricky you have my attention!

So, tomorrow...or TODAY actually at this point the Miguel skins are being released. Hop on over to Belleza and pick up your demos!

So if I tell you I am like the most irresponsible blogger lately, will you hate me?

I have literally been going back and forth with Maria Gherardi of MG Fashion for like 2 months. Really?! Anyway, I kept meaning to go and shop there, and was distracted...but I finally got my self together and went over.

I am so glad I did, and so sorry its taken me this long to share. I love everything in the shop. OMG and the new jackets, which I am not even sharing, but saw on the feeds. They are so great! I must get over and buy them SOON!

Maria does great sculpting work, which in addtion to her talents with texturing gives you a fantastic product. I am showing you her Bow Front Cardigan an also her Lune Chic Sweater dress...which are relatively new releases. You get lots of layering options, and even attachment points with the cardigan. Which comes in handy when you start accessorizing, etc.

Genesis - Eden Skins

So... I am going to unload a few blogs on y'all. I am finishing up my ROLE Mag work and squeezing in a bit of Blog love before I head off on a quick vacation. I will NOT be taking the laptop... it will be the first time in maybe 2 years that I've separated myself fully from the SL community. So, I might go into some sort of shock, or possibly withdrawls?! It will be interesting I am sure. BUT I need the break, and the recharge, and the excellent vacation company.

So to kick this off, I am going to share the new Eden skins from Genesis, which Ryker Beck was kind enough to share with ME. I did get a sneak peek when she was first working on them, gave her my thoughts on where she was going with it. They've improved even more then the skins I loved then. She's done wonderful things with the body detail.

I love all of the shading, in places like the ankles, and elbows. It seems like something un important..but when it is there, it makes all the difference in the world. I also really like the many different make up options. I am sharing the Nutmeg skin tone with you, all in freckles. But they come without freckles, and you can get them in quite a few different shades, everything from pale to very dark.

Gimmeh some Kunglers!

Well, its been a while since I've had any Kunglers newness to chat with you about.... somehow, and honestly I've no idea how it is possible; I found my way OUT of the Kunglers group. Sooo... I was in my own little fluffy cloud and just thought they'd been uber busy and nothing new to report. Ooooopsie!

So... on that note, here are to fresssssh looks from the lovely Kungler sisters!

The left is called Velouria and I am wearing it in the red, its from the Kunglers' Couture line. I love the soft layers of the skirt, and the color for that matter. I also adore the bodice, and the feathered sculpty work that Ava has given it. Its something fun that borders on formal, but you can make it more funky with the appropriate shoes/hair.

Speaking of Funky.... the right is called Ana, and I am wearing it in blue. I absoultely love this! Barbra I am sure had fun making it, it shows. I love the open front (which is optional fyi), great textures too. Prim collar, and skirt work well with the sculpted belt, which comes with the outfit! Ohhh and you know the benefits of a Kunglers outfit, you ALSO get the gloves, which included painted nails! Bonus!

Infinity Skins

I was one of those girls who gladly helped Annyka Bekkers beta test her new line of skins - Infinity. This line is completely seperate from the one you all know and love - blowpop. Anyway, I did it just to be helpful, and get a sneak peek at the new skins. I did offer some suggestions, but on the whole, was in love with them. That was many months ago....

So last night when I got this fantastic present in-world from Annyka I was all *squeel*... as a thank you to all the beta testers she dropped a TON of new skins on us.

I figured I would share them with you all, even tho it is a bit of a tease, as they aren't being released until next week sometime... sowwy!

My personal prefernce is the Elizabeth line, because I am a freckle girl. No one really does freckles like Annyka... I dunno what it is, but the combo of the skin complexion and the freckles looks so fresh and clean. I think it really resembles my RL complexion, maybe that is where the favoritism comes from?!

But they are all really gorgeous, and she has put endless hours and work into them, as they have been a LONG time coming. The noses are impecable really, the shading and highlight, a ton of detail... its kinda like turning on the hi-def on your face. She follows through with this on the body as well, collar bone details, fingernails, shading on the stomach.

I am giving you a good sampling below of different skin tones, and the 3 new skins - - Ava, Carmen & Elizabeth. You can get each in an array of skin tones, and 6 different make up options.

Hey Lovelies! :)

Two posts in two days?? * faints* I must have some time on my hands. Actually I have been meaning to blog this for ages but with deadlines and rl overtaking everything I have been a lazy bast. I couple weeks ago I was given an note card that had an Ivalde challenge. I have been a fan for Ivalde for sometime. I love how you can find virtually any style you want. I think most people think that Ivalde is all about the retro gear but it's soooooooo much more. It was so hard to narrow down my choice to just ONE outfit. I could of easily picked like 30 cause you know my inventory needs more stuffs! :/ So after circling the store a few times I settled on an outfit called "Hlin" It's a fantastic almost checkered coat and trouser suit. It also comes with a turtleneck for underneath.I love both the jacket and the trousers but I don't really like wearing outfits that coordinate that well ie completely matching even though they look cute ..its just not me. So I decided to break up the jacket and the pants combo and make two separate outfits. And if you think about it, it's way more use for your lindens.
The first look I went for was with the jacket and turtleneck. I adore this coat. I love the nice chunky cuffs which horraaaay I didn't have to edit. I love the little button detailing on the coat itself. I paired it with an awesome tutu skirt from Canimal and a pair of tights. I also threw in "fashion pop" hair from Vintage wear. I love this outfit it's cute enough to wear for a party but not to fancy for just wearing around the grid as you shop. The coat looks incredibly warm and although its almost spring here in Scotland where I am in rl it's freaking COLD still.

The second look I opted for was using the trousers from the Hlin outfit. I teamed them with the shirt from the cute Shark attack mini from *SL* and the awesome new hair from Truth. I wanted to go for a more tougher look with gloves, belt and biker boots. I sorta have a thing for trousers that have patterns on them. I love the texture of these trousers they actaully look like they would be thick to touch. These are highly versatile and with all the different colors in the pattern the possible shirt/jacket choices are endless.

Finally...Nef the owner for Ivalde kindly gave me a wonderful dress/bolero combo called Eriny and I thought I would post a picture cause A. it's freaking cute and B. cause its GREEN and it's almost St.Patricks Day. :)

Clawtooth by Clawtooth...yuuuum

Hello lovelies :)

I have been an awful blogger lately. Curse real life getting in the way. I was rather excited today when I logged on to a note card from the fabulous Bubbles Clawtooth owner of the newly opened hair store "Clawtooth by Clawtooth" or "CBC". I mean new hairs on the grid make me tres happy anyway but when they are not your standard hairs it makes me even more excited. Although there are only two hairs in store they are truly wonderful. The textures, the color choices and the names I mean could you possibly ask for more.

The first one is called "Lola's big date. It's a fab almost side pony tail style. But its messy...which I love. It has wispy bits all around the face and a slight side parting that falls perfectly over your forehead. It also in includes a detachable cherry blossom.

The next style is called " Veronica Lake". It's a uber sexy long do that sweeps down the back. I love how the hair covers one eye and how it falls perfectly over your cleavage ..beautifully framing it. Which of course its very important.
I really can't tell you enough how much I adore these hairs. I can hardly wait for the lovely Bubbles Clawtooth to come out with more things. It's defiantly a shop to watch.

I was in my studio after a really rough day and snapped this shot. I figured I'd share here, since it was taken in the mash-up I am blogging about....

While on my shopping adventures this weekend I made a pit stop at C.Smit. You might recognize the name, the new clothing designer; Cynthia Smit is a pretty well know photographer. She does amazing things with her photos, so it seems fitting that she has decided to extend her skills and take a swing at Fashion Design.

So far she has created a selection of shirts, mostly tank tops. They are all embellished with fine detailing. I love the Free Love tank in particular! Most come with lace trim detailing, and lots of layer options.

It gave me a chance to do a sorta mash-up, which I just don't get to do enough of. But I also gave you a few shots of some other tops, one short sleeved called LittleLeo, which looks pretty plain and simple from the front, but turn around and it is nearly backless. The other Partygirl, again has great detailing on the back, with a necklae like embelishment and the words Party Girl printed across it. The front has some detail on the straps, as well as the lace trim (again).

I am always meaning to go to new clothing stores, or places that are *new to me*, but I get busy, and I never make it over. This weekend I made a real effort to shop. And while yes, I was partially shopping for the magazine, I really was shopping for ME.

So with that in mind I stopped by DCNY, I had never been in the store yet. Not to say I haven't eyed the goods on the feeds...but you know, actually SHOPPING in the store. I have quite a few of their outfits to show you. All of the clothes are from the store, all I did really was accessorize. You get complete outfits when you shop there in general. That is a huge bonus if you don't want to piece things together. But a lot of these outfits could be broken down and used in different ways.

I love all the prim work on the pants, collars, cuffs. Everything is textured perfectly, with shading and folds in all the right places. Overall a great shop, I can honestly say I don't think there is anything in the shop I wouldn't wear. I can't wait to see what new designs come out, and will be eager to visit again!

I should also note all the hair featured in this post is new Truth!! Woohoo! I am a happy happy girl when I have Truth hair. Ohhh... and *hugs* to Truth, I am very patial to the Felicity hair. Thank youuuuu!!

Annah Whitfield is rebranding for *AnnaH* and has relocated as well!

The new brand .:StoRin:. (which means "little treasure" in celtic) is full of the quality that you've come to expect from Ann. I think my personal favorite new *treasure* is the Beje Leather tote, which you will find below. I love the sculpted tote so much! Ann did a fantastic job with it

I am also really partial to the Codie dress, the sleeve cuff detail is terrific, and so is the collar! I love the shading work all over, and adore the pencil skirt. There is even a bit of prim detail on the belt in the back. It is the little details that always make the difference, and Ann always takes such care in that respect.

Mardi Gras

I felt like celebrating today... I still haven't made my way to New Orleans for Mardi Gras... one day I will.

So, what isssss Mardi Gras?

The terms "Mardi Gras" refers to events of the Carnival celebrations, ending on the day before Ash Wednesday. From the French term "Mardi Gras" (literally "Fat Tuesday"), the term has come to mean the whole period of activity related to those events, beyond just the single day, often called Mardi Gras Day or Fat Tuesday.

So the basic idea is; lots of music, dancing in the streets, parades, alcohol, colorful wild clothing and CELEBRATION. Ohh... and umm beaded necklaces fit in there somewhere. =)

I am not necessarily showing you anything new, just one of my favorite festive gowns from Moxie Polano's. It screams Mardi Gras to me, the green tones, and the fun mask. I think if you are spending your night celebrating in world, this would be the perfect ensemble.

When I received the group gift, and tried on the Gala skins for the first time. I mean that literally, too, I've never worn any Gala before, I was so pleasantly surprised. Besides the flawless body, with the perfect sheen, and shadowing everywhere.... the face/makeups are really terrific.

You get a good selection of makeup options too, with ranging colors, and even different lip tones with each one as well. But what was really key in making theses skins a must have for me were the freckles.

Everyone knows I love my freckle skins! What makes these special? The freckles are all over.... down the arms, legs, across the belly. Which is a rare find in SL. Generally you get facial freckles, sometimes even a bit on the chest... but very rarely ALL over. SO.... I was sold.

Hello lovlies,

I thought I would let you in on an awesome store called Fear and Clothing.I was so thrilled when I was dropped some items yesterday. The shop itself is located in a fabulous looking shopping area called Londoom which is also worth a wander.
The minute I opened the box and saw low rise tartan trousers I was excited. I looooove tartan trousers and the ones from Fear and clothing have to be one of the best I have seen on the grid. They are the cuuuuutest. They are low waisted, beautifully textured and there is an awesome belt buckle that attaches to the waist line. Which is great cause you don't have to fiddle around with prim that goes around your hips. I am forever trying to edit belts around my bottom.:/ Fear and Clothing also offers some low rise trousers in a stripe design which is just as cute. There are tons of colors to choose from from neutral colors like brown to the ones I am wearing in the picture below which is cherry. Also in store is a fantastic Sharkskin jacket. Actually this jacket is highly versatile. It could easily be dressed up with heels and a dress or dressed down with a pair of jeans. It has cute little skull buttons on it and there are two different versions one with chains one without. Fear and clothing also do jewelry and tee shirts amongst other things. It's not only a shop for girls it's a shop for boys to soooo head on over yo cause it's the awesome.

Couverture yippeee!

Hello lovelies :)

I hope everyone had a fantastic Valentines day.I thought I would let you in on a fab little store called Couverture. My friend Machang dropped a kick ass bed into my inventory for <3 day so I thought I would head on over to the store it came from because I wasn't familiar with it. I was super excited when I discovered not only did they sell furniture they sold the cutest clothes ever!
I seriously could of bought one of everything there. It's all super girly and frilly which I looooove. The first dress that caught my eye was the AuSoleil dress. I mean I know in most places in the world its still freezing but I was sick of scarfs and trousers and this dress to me screamed spring or even summer. I love the flouncy skirt and the diagonal hem line. I paired it with a fab tigerlilly hair flower from Jetdoll and a pair of sandals for that ohhh yesss the sun is out look.
The next dress I NEEDED was the La fille du pays dress. This has loads of different layers. It has a cute undershirt that looks almost like long underwear. It also come with leggings. I used to have a dress like this in rl ages ago when I was a grunge kid! :) Gots to love the plaid. I also picked up a set of cute bangles for super cheap. So head on down yo and see the awesomeness! :)

Valentine's - Be Mine!

Thought I would jump in with some V-day wishes for y'all!

If you have someone special you are spending your Saturday with, I hope its full of love.

This also gives me the chance to wear my new dress from Solange - Valentine Red Holiday Dress. It sure has put me in the mood, I feel all romantic-like =) Seriously tho, I love the details on the skir trim, and the fantastic little bow detail. It has a soft sweet look, which is perfect for this Saturday!

My dear friend Hibi is back and designing jewelry. I thought the Codie Bijoux Rouge Set was perfect along with this dress. The large center jeweled heart has 2 strands of multi colored beads that run up to smaller sets of jeweled hearts, simple beaded bracelet and the earrings with the matching jeweled hearts compliment it well. Hello all :)

So I was strolling around the new cupcake sim and I stumbled across a little store called &Bean. I have previously visited this store in its old location and bought a few items but seriously the new stuff in the main store just blew me away. I rarely walk into a store and NEED everything but with &Bean I NEEDED everything. The textures are fantastic and the range of clothes is also great. It is not a huge range but its has one of everything really. Tanks, Trousers, shiny leggings, dresses etc.
I immediately fell in love with the "signaling through the flames" skirt It's like the flounciest tu tu type skirt ever!! It's so girlie and pretty.It could easily be dressed up or down. I opted for a more dressed down street type look in these pictures.I paired it with the equally awesome coat from there called "Maps". I love the pointed shoulder pads and the rolled up sleeves that have a hint of color. Also I wanted to mention these awesome "fame shades" from Vintage wear. I know that this shades have been all over the feeds but I slove them.

Issue 3 - ROLE Magazine & Art Exhibition Info

I just wanted to take a sec to let everyone know Issue 3 of ROLE Magazine was released February 1st. If you haven't read it yet, you can HERE. In the very few days since its release we've had an enormous amount of readership, and it really goes to show how quickly the magazine is growing. We appreciate so much all of the positive feedback and comments we have received!

I also wanted to make a quick mention about the up coming Art Exhibition that ROLE Magazine will be hosting. I really hope everyone can make it out, it should be a fantastic exhibit, and event.

ROLE Magazine is pleased to unveil our plans to host monthly art exhibitions at our magazine headquarters on the Concetta sim. Our kick-off exhibition is scheduled for Sunday, February 15th at 12pm SLT. Each month-long exhibition will feature the works of two select artists.

The initial ROLE Magazine art exhibition will feature the ingenious works of artists Adam Soler and Ub Yifu, plus a live, musical performance by the famous Winston Ackland, real life and SL musician.

ROLE Magazine has selected artists Adam Soler and Ub Yifu for the February 15 - March 15 exhibition series. Adam Soler’s digital artworks blend photography with digitally hand-drawn elements. His colorful paintings often embody touches of a fantasy world.

The artistry of Ub Yifu is widely known and he has created some of the most famous sculptures on the grid. He began creating 3D objects inspired by famous real life paintings in May of 2007. Some of his well-known sculptures are the “Space Elephant” inspired by a painting by Salvador Dali and the “Don Quichotte” statue based on a painting by Pablo Picasso. Other sculptures by Ub, inspired by real life works, include Michelangelo’s “David” and the Statue of Liberty.

Plan to join us at the ROLE Magazine headquarters on Concetta sim, Sunday, February 15th at 12pm SLT as we present the selected works of artists Ub Yifu, Adam Soler, and listen to the musical stylings of the talented performer Winston Ackland.

League - Belted Leather Jacket

So basically my Friday night is blogging, to keep myself outta trouble. Which, in case you didn't know - - like a moth to a flame. So I am just hanging out in the studio taking pics in my snugly fitting new leather jacket from League... case you were wondering where I've hidden myself.

I think the texturing on this new design from Nena is beyond beautiful. Her scuplting skills are growing with leaps and bounds as well. You have lots of prim accessories, everything from the collar, to the arm straps, and mini skirt. You have options on the jacket as it comes in 3 lenghts, I am showing the long and short, there is one more in between. The colors are fantastic as well, I usually don't wear red, but I am not sneaking out of this ANY time soon. The skirt/short combo that you can grab to match is too cute as well, love the angel wing detail across my booty. I suppose I should mention you can get those stockings in tons of colors over at League now as well, even to match these looks, as u can see! She also tossed me the new version of the Asuka boots, which shes created in black, due to numerous requests *Yay!*

Hello there lovelies :)

I thought I would do a wee post with a few of my fave things that have been released this past week or so. It's very pink which normally isn't me, but since ya know Valentines Day is slowly approaching I felt in a pink mood.
First off we have a new release from my fave store in the whole wide world Thimbles. Seriously if you haven't been to Thimbles OMG you are missing out. The new release that I am wearing is a plaid shirt called * I <3 plaid Archie*. There are tons of other colors to choose from with great names like..Henry, Ray Ray, etc. Plaid shirts are super versatile..worn with just jeans or you can dress it up with a cute skirt.
The second thing that I cant get enough off is the new release from Pudge. I have always been a fan of Pudge since it opened ages ago. Crystyle Bukowski hair has always been inventive and unusual. Her new hair " do me Seymour " is a new favorite...in fact since buyingit I have only took it off once. I looooove it. It has that sorta just out of bed look.
The third release is from a fabulous store called Tokeo.Plastik. I love unusual attachments and I was so excited when I came across one of their sculpted tongues! I know they are more geared towards nekos but seriously they are the cutest thing ever. The one I am wearing is the special valentines day edition and has a scripted love heart candy on it. You can change the phrase that appears on the love heart. Things like..True love, I'm a dork and kiss me there are nine different options! Also there is a kick ass pair of Valentines headphones. The detailing is fantastic I love the little digital looking lights that are on the side. Take care all Kxx

Kings Rezzable

I was thrilled to be invited to check out the new Kings Rezzable Sim yesterday. I was invited to the fashion show of Digital Alchemy - Fashion Inspired by Ancient Egypt, which was arranged for a small group of Bloggers. The sim is really an amazing visit, complete with hippos! The fashion show - - extremely well done. Beyond the incredible fashions that were displayed, was the interesting stage design, even the model's entrance!

The main fashion show will be on Friday February 6 at 2pm SLT. You will be able to catch designs by Nicky Ree, Casa Del Shai, Kunglers, SySy, Digit Darkes, Exile and many many more!

I am featuring just 2 of the lovely looks - -

The first is Casa del Shai's Eternal Nefertari Blue. I love the fact that she made the bodice semi sheer! If you wear both shirt layers, as I am, you don't see quite as much skin shading, but certainly try out something a bit more risque. The colors are beautiful, as blue is my favorite color, I choose this one. You also get the added bonus of both bracelets! I like that Shai didn't make the top matchy matchy, and that clearly one side is showing more bewb then the other *giggle*. Sleeve detailing is lovely too, overall a very soft feminine feel.

Second is Kunglers' Amanra. With this one you really get 2 different dresses. Because Ava decided that she wanted it to be more pracitcal. So you have a more fanciful look (which I am shwowing), that includes; armbands with fabric attachments, a more adorned necklace, and a more detailed skirt with jeweled accent. I love the more extravagant look, and am thrilled that you get the necklace with it, it is a great piece. The texturing on the top is terrific as well. I am impressed with the wrapped fabric design, really lends to the egyptian feel that she was going for.

Other mentions... My fantastic hair - - Cleo Bob, by Inorite. Obviously we know where the name came from, and the hair jewels are an attachment, so you can really get mutiple uses out of this look as well. Which was why I was thrilled to pick it up in my red tone - rust.

And lastly, but most certainly not least... the SKIN! Kuja of the oBscene did a fantastic job with the makeups! They are called CLEO, and you can get them in an assortment of makeup colors! I am wearing them in Gold Peacock, and Blue Peacock.

Skin Flicks Skirt/Jumpsuit

I've got some more Skin Flicks newness for you! Mavis sent me these 2 great new sets the other day and I've been wearing them out all over. The Cynthia Skirt Suit and Jumpsuit are some great basic pieces to add to your closet.

Inside the Skirt Suit folder you will find many layering options; You can wear the jacket alone, with long sleeves or short, and with the shirt cuff showing, or not! You get 2 different options for prim collars as well! I love the great belt detailing at the waist, and of course the exceptional texturing that Mavis is so well know for.

Inside the Jumpsuit folder you again have lots of options; You get the different collar options as well as the sleeves for the shirt, You can wear the Jumpsuit with the shirt, or not (woot) AND, you also can switch out the pants version of the jumpsuit for a skirt option instead!

Lost Dreams cuteness!

Hello all :)

So I was wandering around some shops and I bumped into the owner of the store Lost Dreams. She handed over the landmark and I quickly tped on over to see what was on offer. I love finding new stores to blow my lindens in. The first thing that caught my eye was a fab dress called Priscilla. It's the cutest black and white dress. The shape of it is perfect cause its not too long but short enough. The neckline is lovely it allows kick ass bewbage which is always a bonus right? It also comes in grey and black. The store is filled with dresses ranging from casual to evening ball gowns. So sorta a one stop shop for dresses. You also get a cute shiny gold shirt for joining the group which is a subscribe machine for all of us who are up to our limit! :)

Skin Flicks

I am not taking this outfit off. Plan on seeing me in to for days on end, k? I love this top, instant fave. I'd like to have it in every color under the rainbow, thank you very much.

Mavis of Skin Flicks spoils me. She shares newness with me all the time. Because they are like the most amazing quality clothing certainly doesn't hurt. So let me tell you about this Skirt and Top...

The shirt is called Billy Joe, it only comes with the open option, tho I suppose you could wear a tank under it or something (she gives you both the shirt and jacket layers)... umm... but why? The texturing shows off all the creasing and shading just right, the knot is an attachable part, which I love, but so are the sleeve cuffs and the collar. All of it together is just hotness.

Then there is the skirt, which for as far as I can tell was just labled black skirt. But its done really well again. The tie on it again, is an attachable piece, which really adds dimension, and even the elastic detailing at the waist of the skirt offsets all the black layering.

Course I should also mention the skin I am wearing, which is, you guessed it Skin Flicks! Mavis has been revamping her whole line, and I believe she told me yesterday that only the new skins are in the store. I am wearing the Sadie Skin, Natural Beige M6. Lots of different makeup options are offered! What I particularly love about this Sadie skin, are the freckles. I adore freckles! The Sadie is the only in the line that has freckles, so if its not your thing, not a problem. I would really suggest going down and having a look at the demos... I was really impressed with the lips and the overall face sheen on a few of the other skins!

I think I speak for Keey and myself when I say there just aren't enough hours in the day! We both have so much to share, and and just not enough time. So I am going to really try and catch up over the next few days! Just warning... be prepared for the flood!

/Axel / designer Lila dropped a folder on me a few days ago containing all kinds of newness from their shops. They are also creating hair now, which I am featuring. I really enjoy shopping over there, I love the layout of all the little boutique like shops, and their line continues to be fun and colorful.

I love the Juneberry sweater, which is an argyle button down sweater, it is textured so well, and the jacket layer comes down over their jeans which I am also featuring. The jeans are sculpted on the bottom for a *skinny* fit. The Splattered dress is a lot of fun, and like I said really colorful. It comes with 2 attachable tiered prim layers, both of which I am wearing. And finally the purple Nikaboom dress. Which features gold button up and prim skirt. Its a simple dress, but I love the details, on the pockets, and the belting.

I've also managed to work in my new Adam n Eve skin from the Bliss line. I featured a peek at the skin a few weeks ago, but I am thrilled with all of the makeup options that Sachi has come up with. This one is the Citrus, I am crazy for the bright green eye make-up. I won't go on about how I love the skin itself... I already covered that. But... Goooood Stuff.

I was sooo excited when I saw the new release from Kyoot.I have always been a fan of Saeya's work ever since the days she had a tiny shop in Imogen. Her stuff is not only creative and inventive it's well made. The textures are second to none and what is even more awesome is she is the most down to earth girlie I know. Her new release Cotton Mini Dress is just awesome. It's so versatile it can be dressed up or dressed down depending on occasion. I am such a sucker for things that are plain that you can dress up or down and the shading is so freaking good. I am in lub...the only problem was what color to wear. I may never take this dress off...just circulate the colors haha.

Phoenix Rising, Redgrave & lamb

Phoenix Rising is a relatively new store by designer Ashoka Eales. She's already proving to have amazing skills in the fashion world. When I opened the review folders and started trying this on it was a refreshing surprise! I am really thrilled with all of the layering options, and the different combos you can pull together.

I think really there are 3 looks with this set. You have a long gown with the belt, then a short printed skirt (with belt), and then the fun stuff for later, with a gorgeous lingerie set, complete with garters and trim! The top with the plunging neckline is revealing, and very sexy, and I adore the belt and the flexi pieces. I'd wear the top and belt with a pair of jeans, and have a completely differen look no doubt. You'll surely be able to get many uses out of it from day to day right into evening wear, and beyond *wink*

So thanks for sharing Fann, I really do adore it, and am excited to wander around the store a bit more and see what else I might add to my new Phoenix Rising collection!

Oh... and yes you are correct, that is the new Redgrave skin - - Leona *squeel* (I'm wearing the pale tone) Cannot get enough of Redgrave! Emilia has done such a great job this time around! I love the lips, and the eyes, and she has toned down the body all over a bit, which for those who don't like the *high-def* skin, its pleasing. Happiness is a Redgrave skin!

And I also managed to squeeze in the new lamb hair, bonjour operator (bloods pack - restaurant ketchup). The store only has 2 styles currently, both are adorned with hats, but they are too cute! AND the hats are color changeable, so you can work them into the wardrobe easily. I would like to beg for some hat-less hair tho, since I think the styles are fantastic.

Skin Flicks Minis!

When you have a care package waiting for you from Skin Flicks, you immediately stop whatever it is that you are doing, and scoot your booty in world.

Which is just what I did yesterday. This time around we are a far cry from the recent sweaters and winter wear. Matter of fact, I am barely dressed! Mavis has done everything right with this new line of Minis. There are many colors to choose from, and you have a few layer options. The different styles are so much fun. I can't really choose which one I like best... ohh alright... I am sorta partial to Sophie (which you can catch below in red). The other styles are Emily (Hot Pink), and Tracy (Gold).

I'd also have to make a mention of the new ankle boots from Adam n Eve - Anessa ... They have a clever buckle around them, and are sculpted divinely. They also come in array of colors, you can even pick leather or suede! I particularly love the heel on them, just super sexy. I am wearing the Scarlet Special.

Monday News (SWA, Pixel Mode, Royal Blue, Dark Mouse)

Happy Monday Everyone!

I've got so many items that need reviewing, and I've just....ummm.... had my head up my ass? I dunno, no better explanation really... ohh well... RL work I suppose. But since when does RL interfere with SL?!

I thought I would try and share a few new things (new for me at least) So, I can feel a bit less guilty, and so YOU can shop!

I've never shopped at SWA before... and was thrilled when I had a walk around the store last week. I particularly love her blouses. The texturing is really detailed, and while there are no fancy sculpted parts, they stand on their own. After all, really without the good texturing, what is an SL top?

There was also a really fun Tartan set! Great belt comes with it, color options, leggings.... annnnd a fun beret! Yum!

I have also managed to give you lots of newness in the boots category! Tya of Pixel Mode shared her new Danielle boots with me last week, and it was instant love. I am really partial to over the knee boots, and these stand out with the cute bow at the back!

You can also check out the open toed boots from Royal Blue, which lace all the way up! They are different, which is always a bonus, as my boot collection has a life of its own. Then there are the ankle boots, which also come from Royal Blue. I LOVE them. The belting detail, and the way they are sculpted to kinda *slouch* a bit... <3

One last mention... I made my way over to Dark Mouse for the first time last week as well, and I am so happy to add all that jewelry to my collection. Most things are sold in sets. There are belts, earrings, bangles...necklaces... you name it!

That will do it for me today.... unless I get up the energy to blog some more from the increasing collection!

Midnight Rose - Moxie's

I have to confess....I feel a pang of guilt for the way I tried to tear this off poor Moxie 's back the other night. It seems rather unfair to me to have a friend that makes the most gorgeous gowns, and just struts around in them in front of you... when they are not yet released. GRR!

So after a little begging, pleading, and brainstorming over a name for this lovely number... I HAVE Midnight Rose...

As per usual, its simply fantastic! Different again from most of what you will find; this 2 piece number had a layered tulle skirt, thats very sexy, and the itty bitty skirt is cinched with a rose bow at the top has wonderfully detailed texturing. The top also carries over the texturing from the skirt, and the sculpted roses run around the entire thing, with a sway that trickles down the back in the matching skirt tulle.

Course its a must have...so go get it.... @ Moxie Polano's

Zaara Sim Grand Opening

Today Zaara Kohime opened her new sim Zaara, which is now home to her mainstore. The build should be enough to encourage you to visit... here are a few shots (which I've totally stolen from Berry)...

I cannot imagine you don't know of Zaara's amazing fashion line, which while she does specialize in Indian wear, she also carries an array of styles that carry over the themes to a more mainstream/western tone. I know I've not really shared much before from her line, but I do OWN most of whats there. I love to shop there, and mix and match her pieces. All of her work is meticulously done, fine texturing, and excellent work with prims.

So today at the grand opening both Berry and Zaara pointed me to the back of the new store, where I fell in love with the new version of her Black Swan gown - - Hansika.

So now you have more then one reason to visit.... you can pick up the new gown, and stroll through the courtyard and temple. =)

League - Ella

Sunday Reviews....Love em! So here is one of the many things I acquired this weekend. Newness from League - Ella. I love this set, you get options for different color skirts as well as matching stockings with garters. I think that Nena has done a fantastic job with all of her sculpting work, the sleeves with the belting detail, as well as the collar. Her texturing is always impressive, and highly detailed. I adore the shirt, and am hoping I get to pair it with other mash ups going forward. I think the stiching and the shading is really fantastic! Also, Nena has included the Astrolabe necklace, which if you take a close look, is animated! I also figured I'd just go with the Asuka boots, that are from League as well...because...well..they look perfect! =)

Just a quick note about the excellent skin from BEBAE, I won't go into it too much because Keey already covered it in a previous post... BUT... I do adore them, and I think the lips and makeup are fantastic. Each set has a little different coloring, and look to it, some more dramatic then others.... okay shutting up now!

New Adam n Eve Skin - Bliss

I have a secret....

Sachi Vixen of Adam n Eve slipped me a sneak peek at the all new Bliss skins!! SO I am going to share with you all!!

You cannot get them just yet, but they will be available very soon. So let me dish....

This new skin is phenomenal. I am wearing the Bliss t2 Red Candy makeup. I think the best work Sachi has done to date... The realism is extremely impressive, and you can see all the time and effort that was put in, from head to toe. The face is shaded perfectly, and the slight shimmer on the lips makes me squeel.

But you can't stop there, take a look at the collar bone, and the cleavage, and did you notice the hands, and the stomach? She's take great care with the belly button, and look at the fingertips! I think they are the best I've seen?! Flipping it around to the back, from the shoulder blades right down to the delicious booty, again immaculate shading and detail!

Even moving down to the legs, nothing was left out, knees, ankles, and beautiful little toes. I have to say also, tho while I am not sharing them, Sachi girl.....luuuuv the nipples! The dimension you gave there, good stuff!

I've tried to really give you a good sampling of all the fine details, but I think you will need to get to Adam n Eve and pick up a demo for yourself, when they are released.

Bebae skin hotness!!

Hey Lovelies
I wanted to let you all know about the fabulous new release of skins from the not so well known store Bebae. I am a huge skin collector I have hundreds of skins. Nothing makes me happier then finding kick ass skin and these are no exceptions. They are just breath taking. The detailing, the makeup in all honesty one of the best I have seen on the grid. The body has the perfect shading in all the right places and it's lovely feminine shading no harsh six packs. I am completely in slove with these skins. I found it so hard trying to pick which fatpack I wanted because the skin tone is wonderful on each set. Usually I am all about the pale cream tones but for once I found the perfect tan . I looked sun kissed not like I was dunked in orange paint. Really you all must head on down and try the demos you wont be disappointed. The shade I am wearing in the pics below is Belina :Cara.

I hope everyone had a fab Christmas and New Year! I have a little something to share with you all. I was pleased as punch yesterday to log on and have a inventory offer from the extremely talented Aranel Ah of BOOM clothing. I have been a fan of her stuffs since forever. Her low rise jeans barely leave my pixels. The newest addition to her store is called Barely there and OMG it's the sexiest damn top I have come across in a long time. It's a sequined halter that just hangs beautifully on the skin. The thing that makes it so special is that it has a chain tie at the back which looks so awesome. It also comes in with two different tops one you can wear without a cute little ruffle and one with. I just love it. Not only can it be worn with just jeans it can easily be dressed up for a more special occasion.

So I have been really neglecting My Second Closet. =( Most of you know I've become really involved with ROLE Magazine, and it is taking up a lot of my time... BUT... I am not going anywhere!! I love MSC, and I am going to try and get back to some sort of blogging routine.

With that in mind, I picked up the newness from Gypsy Soul; Tangerine - - because it looks as though it was stolen from my RL closet. =) I haven't had the chance to blog about anything from there yet, the store is really fantastic, the collection doesn't have a single thing I wouldn't want to own (or don't own at this point). Everything is sold as complete outfits, and the prices for the quality are superb. The fun thing is that it looks as though you have done a mix and match, so you don't have to do any work! Lately, I don't feel much like pulling things together, I just want to right click a folder, wear...and go. This particular set (which includes both sweater and pants) comes with many layering options, as well as sculpted pant lets, sleeves and turtleneck! So, do have a look over at Gypsy Soul... I think the holiday gift might still be up!!

* Two lip glosses- one Motherpucker which is da bomb and the other is Benefit
* Liquid blush by Benefit called posie tint. Its the best thing in the world and lasts forever.
* Two empty packets of sugar from Costa coffee mmmm gingerbread lattes.
* One piece of Bazooka gum
* A headband ear warmer thingie my Aunt made me for Christmas.
*My little notebook filled with recipes and lyrics. If ya look hard enough there is a recipe for coleslaw and chicken haha.

* My nokia phone which I lubs!
* A little pink bag which contains a bracelet my daughter got for her birthday.
* A receipt from my recent shopping trip.

That's it! Usually there is WAY more trash but this handbag is fairly new so I haven't been using it for long enough to be messy! :)

Dress Me Up Challege - Feline Skin / Magika

Soooo.... Achariya suggested that I do the feline skin thing, as well as accessorize from Magika, for my Dress Me Up Challenge.

I am thrilled about having the chance to do something different. I didn't have one of the new skins from Jungle Voodoo, and they have come a LONG way. I had one a long time ago, and I personally thought they were pretty...hmm....bold? This, to me is a more subtle and muted version. I also adore all the makeup options they are offering...ohh...and BONUS, they automatically come with the ears and tail!? Yay! I am wearing Tabby, Auburn - Red Night Makeup.

The second side of this, was the trip to Magika, and I have never been! *gasp* There were soooo many fantastic hairs to choose from, how did I never shop here before?! However, I had seen my friend Leeza wearing the hair I did choose, just the day before, so I had to have! I think it suits the look pretty well. With the exception of the fishnets, and the boots, everything is from Magika, so HELLO...go shop! (FYI... I am wearing the Emo Hair, Stripped Gloves, Ballerina top, Doll skirt & Lightning necklace - - yes, ALL from Magika)

Welcome back Kunglers!!

So, if you didn't know; the Kunglers' sister have been spending the last few months working hard on both a new sim, and a whole collection of newness! I was lucky enough to be able to attend the fashion show yesterday, and the beautiful new sim. They have done a terrific job with the entire space! The new store is a great suprise - layout is wonderful, bright and airy. Its worth the trip over just to see the space, and the grounds are both refreshing and relaxing. You could easily spend the afternoon enjoying the sun and gardens.

So, of course, I have tons of new clothes to share! I believe there are 10 new designs in all. I am featuring just 4. But to be honest, picking which 4 was a task all to itself, because they are all unique and very worthy of sharing. So why 4 you ask? Well...thats simple; I also have some brand spankin' new shoes to share as well.... from a new LINE! Woot!

All of the sculpted shoes featured below come from Courtisane. This new line is the combined talents of LeeZu Baxter, and Enktan Gully, both of whom are well known designers in world. I loved all of them, but I do have a personal favorite, the Hors d'haleine, I adore them! We are talking love at first sight. I love the open toe, and the sculpted buckle.

As far as all of the Kunglers' newness, as always they are working on steping outside the box and keeping all of their designs fresh and fun. They've managed to give you accessories, and nailpolish in a few instances, and all kinds of fun trim and detail. Each and every new design is different in its own right, and I tried to give you a good sampling of what there is in store. Ohh la la it's Cachet and MMS !

Hello everyone ! :) I have a few bits and pieces to share with you guys today from the winter range at the fabulous store Cachet. Honestly walking in Cachet is like being a child walking into a toy shop. They just have everything you would possibly need to make the perfect outfit. From handbags, dresses, trousers, sweaters, jackets, leggings, gloves and so much more.

The first look here is more of a playful formal one. The "Clipping" dress is just incredible, I just adore it. The texture is newspaper clippings hence the name. One thing that makes this dress fabulous is that it comes with 3 different skirt options, reg, AO, and skirt sitter script. The AO inbuilt in the skirt is perfect. You change from three different casual positions and there is also a walk which is smooth and fluent. So no more bottoms hanging out of your prims which is a nice change. :) I paired it with the "Scarftube knit2" cause really it's so incredibly made and I cant get enough of scarfs these days. The skin is the latest from MMS " London"range . I thought the neon lips and thick eyeliner went perfect with this outfit. It's sorta of a funky ballerina look!

The second look I have gone for consists of the brilliant "Solange" skirt. I love this skirt. The way it hangs and the tweed texture is to die for. It's one of those skirts that can be dressed up with killer heels or dressed down with a pair of winter boots and tights. I paired it with the "Dietrich" shirt and the "Dietrich" tie. The tie is great cause its color changing so with one click it can match with anything you want to wear it with.I wanted to go for a sorta sexy office look. Instead of tights I put on a pair of leggings also from Cachet mainly cause I am all about the leggings and the color matched the tie perfect.

Okay with this third look I used the "LALA" coat. This is my fave coat on the grid hands down. It's just so lovely. The shape the texture the built in AO. I adore it. It has rarely left my pixels since I received it. The detailing on the buttons and the cuffs is just fabulous. It looks good over just tights or skin tight trousers paired with a killer heel. The MMS skin that I wore for this picture is also my favorite. I love the contrasting deep lip color and the light eye make-up.

My final look is a winter inspired one. As soon as I laid my eyes on the "Fur hat" I NEEDED it. You rarely find hats on the grid that are this awesome. I love how realistic the fur looks. I paired with the awesome "Wrap shirt" and a pair of the equally awesome "Chalize" trousers. These trouser have also rarely left my pixels . I love them they are so versatile. I added the " loveJUNKYbag" cause good accessories are hard to find and this bag is a true jem. It also has a built in AO option so no more arm sticking straight out syndrome. Which I think is fantastic.

So get your bottoms down to Cachet and MMS. You wont be disappointed. :)

Cachet & MMS

I have a boatload of new Cachet goodies to share. So does Keebs for that matter! I will start this round off, then pass it along to her for part II....

In all of the looks below I am wearing the new London skin from MMS. I am not going to do a full on skin review, because a few have already. I do want to point out how much the skins have grown on me! I love the direction Minnu has went with them, which is a change, as once upon a time I didn't love the way they looked on me at all. I tend towards a softer look, I do like a lot of fun makeup, but in the mix of things, I want to have a good base. Also, I did go with the Sunkissed look this time around, which is a change, when I always seem to lean towards the pale skins. But I don't feel burnt or orange! LOL Anyway, I promised not to rattle on. I am sure Keebs will have a bit to share on her end as well.

First look is the Ocean dress in yellow. In addition to the prim skirt, you get an added prim piece for the chest, with the colored detailing. Which really adds to the dress, IMO. The underlaying tulle is all part of the sculpted prim skirt, and you get all kinds of options in the folder. The skirt AND the chest piece come with an optional AO. The skirt also comes with a sitting script. What does all that mean? Well, I think it is a great option, for one thing most of us these days have AOs, that unfortunately, can do really ulgy things to sculpted prim clothing - - body parts sticking out, skirts turned at an arkward angle, etc. So, giving me the optional AO, which overrides mine, makes the whole look really smooth, and makes me want to put it on over and over. There are quite a few pieces in the new line that have this little option, and I have to give the Cachet ladies kudos on that end... I've not really seen this done on this level, and its a fantastic idea. I am also sporting the Leopard Clutch for this look, which also comes with an AO, and the chair or no chain option.

Next shot I am featuring the Turtle Neck and Wool Pants... I love this turtleneck, as well as most of the Cachet sculpted tops. Their neck pieces are alway done so well, all of the folds and creases are perfect. I also love the long sleeves, that come out over the hand. Yes they are sculpted as well. The pants are also very mentionable, as they are not SKIN tight pants, with a flare or boot cut bottom. You will notice they are practically straight legged, with a hint of the cuff at the bottom. The texturing really does give you a wool feeling as well.

Moving along to Image 3 - the Solange skirt and vest.... I think this might actually be my favorite thing out of the line. At first glance I don't know that I would have thought that, but after putting it on, and seeing how cute the look is...I am sold! I love the sculpted vest, the entire thing is sculpted fyi, and it fit me perfectly! The skirt is great as well, I love the fact that you can also wear them as gaucho pants really. If you just leave off the skirt attachment, they look perfect just like that. BUT...the skirt is cute, and gives me a good reason to sport the great leggings as well.

And finally... my new favorite thing.. the Mimi coat! I am wearing it along with the Tabitha sweater dress and Saggy bag. I am thrilled with, the length is perfect, and with the bonus of the AO, it doesn't do all kinds of freaky things when I am wearing it. Great collar, and buttons, and the texturing is lovely as well. The sweater dress looks perfect under it as well, and so does the bag, which again comes with an AO, thats fun, and it is worn very realistically.

Alright, so thats my take on all the new goodies over at Cachet, its a perfect time of year to go get your shopping done!! Head on OVER!

Hello lovelies! :)

I wanted to post a little hello to everyone. Sorry it has taken me so long. I have been super busy with RL and SL. The festive period is just crazy isn't it? Between xmas trees and preparing for the new issue of ROLE magazine I have been swamped. I also just wanted to say I am so looking forward to posting on here and I was over the moon that Felicity asked me to blog with her. It's truly an honor to be involved in such a great blog. So a big thank you to you Felicity.
I will be posting a review on the new MMS london skins and new Cachet goodies very soon! So keep a look out. But for now I need to make my way through the snow in RL booo hiss! I am posting a little picture cause ya know I was excited about posting my first post and I cant get enough of the Black winter vest from Gritty Kitty.

I have a mountain of things in my *TO BE REVIEWED* folder. I am slowly but surely going to work my way out of there. My main focus today is the new Belleza Skins! I have had them since last week I think?! I just haven't had the chance to blog them.

I know I tend to go on about skins when I review them. Really that is simply because anything I do choose to share here, is exceptional. I am not going to show you skins I think are just okay. So while I am thinking of far above and beyond okay.... lets talk Belleza's new skin - - Belle. I am wearing the pale skin in all the shots below, fyi. I am mentioning that because while it is a lighter skin tone, there is so much warmth to it, not pasty white at all. I can really appreciate that, because I do favor a pale skin, as you all know.

The make up selection is wonderful, you have a ton to choose from. Which seems to be pretty par for the course at this point in the skin game. But where skin designers are really excelling these days is in the body detailing. This body is just flawless, the shading has the perfect effect on all the right curves.

I think everyone is talking about them, on nearly every blog, and that is not at all a coincidence. I haven't seen anyone thus far that these skins don't do justice to. While I am thinking of that... because I have had these for days on end, they are actually available to the public as of now. So fight the crowds and get your hands on a few dozen!

I figured I might as well also share some of the newness from TRUTH while I am at it. Will make it quick tho.... Fabo jacket, love the sculpted collar, and the belt and jacket detailing. Comes in tons of great shades.... ohhh and lookie at these hotttt boots. Yep, TRUTH as well. The also come in delicious colors, and are probably completely different then any other pair you have, which is reason enough to go snatch em' up.

MSC Welcomes Keeley Huet

I have some fantastic news! Keeley Huet will be joining the My Second Closet Blog! She will be accepting review copies just like me, and sharing all her thoughts.

I am so happy to have her here, not only is she a gorgeous model in SL, she has an amazing sense of style and a great personality. She is also writing for ROLE Magazine, like me, and I have known her since our time working together at Aspire.

I hope you will all give her a warm welcome, and enjoy all the great things she has to share.

The timing on this has worked out really well, as I am more and more involved with the goings on with ROLE Magazine, and feeling like I am neglecting MSC. So... I think we will together be able to share things, and keep our readers much more informed.

Chai, Shai & Enky

I have a few things to share today, and might be back later with more, if I can get my crap together =)

I pretty much pounced when Casa Del Shai's new Volpe Silk Blouse was released, because I had gotten a sneak preview when I saw it on Shai over at plurk. It is most definitely my new favorite blouse, I adore the sculpted bow, and the sculted sleeves. Even without any of those perks, the texturing alone is gorgeous, it is defintely geared towards the holiday season with all the shimmer and shine, but I think I will be wearing it long after the parties have past! Btw, I am wearing it in Peach.

I am also sport the new enkythings Cypa boots. They are totally different then most of what is offered out there in the boot world, in so much as they have all kinds of prints on the calves of the boots. You can get them in an assortment prints / textures and both in brown and black colored boots. I choose the Black Nightblossom, since I thought it really lent to the look with the blouse. I have good plans on getting tons of use out of them.

And finally, I have managed to make my way over to Chai and oogle at the new skins. Any time I see someone offering skins with freckles...I am SO there. And even better that it happens to be Chai, because 1- I don't have any of Launa's skins, and 2 - they are fantastic. I love the different cleavage options that you have as well as that every skin comes with the freckle option. The body is gorgeous, shading is done so well, so and touchable...just like me! *giggle* I LUV the booty btw, as you will see below. Then there is the face, and all the amazing makeup options. I am big on lip gloss, and grabbed up mostly the shiny lip smackers =)

I haven't had the chance to blog about ::eLDee:: in a while, and am happy to have some newness from Lil to share!

This new dress called Viva, comes in assorted colors, the ones I am featuring are; Green, Purple and Aqua. The skirt is fun, and has a lot of fluffed up layers, and each bow comes in a contrasting color to offset.

I happen to really enjoy shopping in Lil's store, most of her work is really colorful and fun. Usually combining odd prints and colors together, but pulling them off really well. Her swimsuits are really great too, so if you are feeling like taking a dip in December, knock yourself out.

ROLE Magazine

Masquerade

Let me tell you a little story on how I acquired this gorgeous gown, Silver Lilly from Moxie Polano's....

Some of you, or most of you know of Strawberry Singh... or Berry as we all call her. Well, yesterday afternoon she teased me on Plurk with a fantastic image of her in Masqueradeness (I know its not a word damn it) and heading to a ball. So...I decide I am going to go...and start to rummage through my closet. Of course, while I have more then enough to wear, nothing catches my eye. So I finally settle on a lovely little number from Moxie's. But its a Masquerade thing, so I need a MASK! As my luck would have it *just* then Moxie logs in. I pounce, explain my dilemma (hoping she might have a glorious baby blue mask to match my gown) Wellllll.... how about she had a brand spankin' new gown, that was so not even released yet, with a fantastic matching mask. She asks "Do you like black?" - - "Uhh, yeah, who doesn't?!"

Next thing you know, I am in Moxie's workshop in quite possibly the most exquisite gown I have ever seen. I am not just saying that because I love Moxie, and she is a close friend. I am constantly amazed with her work. She looks at each gown with a fresh vision, new lines, ideas.... This one is unique with the sculpted bustle, there are beautiful flower details nitched into it, and the layering on the skirt is unbelievable; tulle peeks out beneath the inner layers, which are shaded perfectly, so much so, I can feel the silk running through my fingertips. There is a wonderful shawl that comes with it, which is also sculpted, and falls off your shoulder in a natural way. In addition to all of that, Moxie is working on all these marvelous masks. With this gown you get the accompanying mask, in both the worn on face, and the hand held. So I tell Moxie, in all seriousness "If I decide to go gay, I am marrying you"

Which brings me back to Berry, lol... I don't know how that relates, but lets just move along. I go through all this trouble (poor me, I know), and I send her an IM, only to find that she has left the damned party. Yea, that's right...there I am covered in new Moxie, and I got no place to go. Lucky for her I got busy with other things, and when I checked back in she was over at the Avatrait Gallery Opening... which was amazing, if you haven't been....GOOOOO!

**Felicity beats on Blogger** I have NO idea why it is freaking out on me today, but for the thousandth time, let me try and post this:

I disappeared again! Sorry!

I needed a little break, not to mention I moved RL... but here I am, for a sec.

I wanted to share some new TRUTH. I adore this new hair Babyhoney, and not just because it carries the name of one of my SL friends <3 I think it also really reminds me of my curly locks, or DID, as I now am sporting the straightness.

The Kawaii sweater is adorable, and cozy as anything. Love the great heart print on it, and the fab color options you have. You also get a BONUS scarf to match. I went with the Ruby sweater & Pink scarf combo... after trying on 10 other combinations =)

And the great Bloom trousers, also from TRUTH.... another great buy! I love the *bloom* detailing both at the pockets and the cuff! Lots of colors to choose from again, so you can really mix it up.

I have a lovely new gown from Adan n Eve to share today! Sachi always manages to be very creative with her styles, and this is no exception. The new Celebre, which I am sporting in green, makes you shimmer from head to toe. It comes with a few options, a short fitted skirt, and a longer more formal version with a train. There is also a fun sculpted piece, that you can wear with the long version, or just on its own. I think the cut outs on the sides are fun, and show off some great skin, which, we all know I am a fan of. There is a lovely color selection as well, I am sure you can one that suits your fancy.

I was really happy when Sachi shared it with me, because I needed a little time out from all the stuff I was doing. Now that I have had some fun.... back to work!! Good things to come guys! I am soooo excited to share, but will button my lips!

Hair, Boots & such...

I spent all day yesterday just shopping! I LOVE Sundays in world, really and truly. I love going to ::69:: to see the new releases, and seeing my friends show up while I am browsing. "Oooo-ing and Ahhhh-ing" at how great the styles look on each other. Which, of course, I am sporting the new style Hug Me 02 in this review.

I did get pulled away by the temptation of Bax Boots.... I've been meaning to get to her store for ever, and it just never seems to happen. But after the Fashion Show on Saturday, I KNEW it was a must for Sunday. I adore this pair of black patents that I am showing you, the frilly lace detail is too cute, and the boots are menu driven, so you can change up quite a bit! They are absoultely perfect, I swear no photoshoping at all, they just look that hot...ALL the time. So now, I have a closet of new boots....yayyy!! Thank you much Bax!

Oh...can't forget to mention my Role Optic Sunglasses, either... again, menu driven, and options galore - - you can change the frame, the lens, there are textures, colors, metals... *sigh* The actual frame is adorable too, I picked the Princess pair, mostly because it reminds me so much of my RL sunglasses. Fannnntastic! Thanks Leeza!

I just didn't do much clothes shopping... I have a lot of reviewy kinda stuff that has piled up. SO hopefully at some point in time, this week.... or not...since I am moving RL on Friday.... but I will dig through it all.

Just this Sunday, seemed like a good day to play. So, I dug up some vintage Last Call *giggle* and decided that was my look for the new hair, shades and boots. Sorry, that you cannot get this outfit, tho, if you are really lucky, someone who has a trans copy might sell it to you for a ridiculously overpriced amount! Just forget about asking me, I treasure every last bit of my Last Call collection!

100th Blog Contest

Well, its now the 16th for me.... some time in the middle of the night. My feet are sore from all the dancing *giggle* and I am just curled up on my couch in my PJs... I am exhausted! But with that comes a really wonderful day! The fashion show, regardless of the absolutely packed sim, went off pretty much without a hitch. Everyone looked gorgeous, and I did get a real kick out of seeing so many things that hang in my second closet hit the runway! And I will be grabbing up whatever else I don't already own!

The party was great, I enjoyed all of the company, and was thrilled to see nearly everyone stay on! The gifts were phenominal, and I hope each and everyone of you is enjoying unwrapping!

I know I said it at the party, but I want to say it again, for those who couldn't get in, or were unable to make it. THANK YOU! I appreciate each and everyone of you, and all that you did to make the day great. Thats all, won't blab away with the whole speech again.

Big Day!

Well, here we are, today is the big day! This would be blog #99.... and just think, I will be posting the 100th later today, and you all will be done with my obnoxious postings about this whole thing! Yayyyy for that alone!

This morning I checked out all the entries into the contest, we had a total of 18 WOOHOO! I happen to like them all, and think they are all sort of different, which just makes me smile. You all are well aware by now, that tomorrow's events are being held at the Haute Couture Sim, which is of course home to Moxie Polano's. I've had this great Woodburn Suede Skirt Set in my inventory for weeks, and have been wearing it out and about, but haven't blogged it. When Moxie showed it to me, I was just in LOVE! AND... the Dark Brown Suede Boots, they are Moxie's as well!! Aren't they terrific?? Moxie wasn't sure about them, but I threw my body over them, and saved them...so you could all enjoy them fully!! So you should hurry over and buy them.... like now!

Anyway, I thought I would share this outfit with you today, to remind you of all the great stuff you can find at the Haute Couture sim! It will be a great day full of events, and shopping, and I personally can't think of a better way to spend my Saturday. More event info HERE.

I love the fur collar on this sweater, and the matching trim, not to mention the little pom poms that hang down, and the crochet like detail along the sweater. The skirt has a great suede stitched look, and comes with belt attachment, that is perfect. You can't really see them, but there is also a well detailed pair of tights under there! I'd love to have every pieced in this in my RL closet, I just need to work on how to get it out of SL, and in there?!

Well, that is my Happy Friday post! I have been keeping an eye on all the entries for the contest, and you all have been doing a terrific job. I am so happy to see the participation, and I know there will be a few more sneaking in today. WHICH, reminds me.... Sneak Peak...

I was down in my closet today putting on the final details, with Moxie. Everything looks so amazing, and I can't wait for you all to see...so much so....here is a sneak peak....

I want to really thank Moxie for all of her help, she is quite honestly the most amazing person, on many levels. I am glad to be able to call her a friend. I will save my gushing for during and after the party though, there are just so many great people who put time and effort into this!

Anyway... I had to sneak in here with #97...give you a quick fix of fashion... I am sporting some newness from Skin Flicks.

I am RL/SL forever and always a sweater person by nature. I see a good looking one, and it just calls to me... as did this when I pulled it out of the Skin Flicks folder and put it on. Mary Ann Snowflake Sweater in Cream - - I love the sculpting at the wrists, as well as the big blukly upper sleeves. The scoop/turtleneck is great, very soft and cozy looking. I also love the classic print on it. The pants, Mary Ann Flairs, happen to match it lovely, and while you can't see it in this shot, they have a great cuff on them. The shading was done very well, and they make your booty look fantastic! Thanks much Mavis for sharing *hugs*

I know I said I was going to quiet down a bit, but then I got an invite for a visit over to the new Axel. I believe, they are not quite new, but the shopping area is, and they haven't gotten a lot of play....AND...have tons of incredible looking clothes. It sort of inspired me to take a little break yesterday morning from all the planning, and just snap a bunch of great shots.

The way they have set up the shopping is perfect, have kept it very boutiquey, and while it is all one brand - /Axel /, they have 5 different stores, and a bunch of different styles offered;

IKATI- Neko, grunge wear
MEARRA-Casual, Beachwear
VENUS-party, formal occasions
FEMME- Couture-inspired outfits
PHUR- Gorean type clothing- panther skins, freewomen gowns, silks.

It was very easy to navigate, and I enjoyed strolling from shop to shop as the build is really gorgeous.

I ended up using 4 different outfits, which I will share with you. This team of designers has worked hard, and all of these lovelies are hand drawn, and the details are wonderful; sculpted belts, sleeves, exquisite shading in all the right places... all details to make you run over and shop!

Fall Fahsion - Part VI

In case anyone is counting... this is is lucky # 94... which puts us just 6 blogs away from #100... woohoo!! Exciting stuff.

November 12th is the deadline for the MSC Blog contest....

The party arrangements are coming together, and my in world closet is nearly complete. I can't wait to see everyone... I will just let it slip now, that the party is on the 15th. I will be releasing the invite on the blog shortly, and to those special VIPs, you will get a personal invite IN world!

So this is going to be my last of the Fall Fashions.... and I saved the best for last, of course. This gorgeous jacket is from AOHARU, and all of their new outerwear is fantastic. The sculpting work is above and beyond, and you will feel good slipping into any of it. I've been itching for a reason to pair something up with my Launa Fauna red leather pants, and was so please to have the chance. I love these puppies like no other.

Without getting TOO political, just want to say, if you are in the US, get out and V-O-T-E!

Here is Part V in my Fall series, and I've went all nature girl on you! LOL AND brunette no less. I love the way the vest, sweater and boots work together, and how the hair really adds to the entire look. The most amazing part of this, is the insane amount of attachments! Pretty sure there is no place to put any kind of accessories, thank goodness Zaara jeweled up the vest!

Back with another fall look this wonderful Sunday afternoon. Its gorgeous outside, and makes me feel like sharing lovely things. Going for a much softer look this time around, but keeping it interesting by throwing on some leather pants, and glaming it up with gold accents. I had a field day over at ETD (for anyone who DOESN'T know, the name of the game this weekend is S-A-L-E.... I believe ETD, CS, Wrong PixelDolls and FKNY... I should note that *some* of these sales are lasting for a month or longer)
